POST-PUNK. French band 12XU is one of the best new bands around right now and they need to do an LP in a hurry. This stuff is melodic and driving with perhaps more of a Post-Punk and Indierock thing than the Emo sound these guys usually do. OLD GROWTH are back and the first song sounds different. DOOM/DRONE. Sharing a similarly bleak ground to CORRUPTED, SUNN 0))) and EARTH, New Zealand's BLACK BONED ANGEL return with their fourth full-length album "Verdun". The Battle of "Verdun" was fought between the German and French armies, and was one of the critical battles during World War I on the Western Front. It resulted in more than a quarter of a million battlefield deaths and at least half a million wounded. Verdun was the longest battle and one of the most devastating in World War I and indeed in history. PUNK. The CAPACES from Barcelona are probably one of Europe's most exceptional and outstanding Punk bands. Founded in 1998, they are playing their furious mix of Punk, Hardcore and Rock'n'Roll with for more than 10 years now! Within this time they released the three full-length albums "Born to punk",(2003),"Amplifired" (2005),and "The restless breed" (2007) and various 7", and played loads of shows all over Spain, where they shared the stage with bands like POISON IDEA, DWARVES, ZEKE, HARD-ONS, D.O.A., GBH, VARUKERS.... After realising a very successful tour with 11 shows in 10 days throughout Germany, Czech Republic and Holland in April 2009, they are about to record their 4th studio-album called "Whatever it is, i'm against it!", which will hit the streets in the beginning of 2010 containing 15 songs of high-energetic Punk'n'Roll at its best and loads more of asskicking shows all over Europe! HARDCORE-PUNK. Even in 1983 when "Patterns of Force" was released, it seems that CIRCLE ONE knew of their peculiar reputation and that this record would be judged with prejudice. Twenty-seven years later, upon the re-release of this album it seems that not much has changed. Whereas the history of early Hardcore-Punk in Southern California has been endlessly chronicled in books like "We've Got the Neutron Bomb" and films like "American Hardcore," the history and music of CIRCLE ONE has remained obscure. Many people from the era agree that the band has been overshadowed by the mythology surrounding lead singer John Macias. Macias' imposing physical presence, gang involvement, militant Christian beliefs, and mental illness followed him to his early death and continue to shape opinions about CIRCLE ONE, a band that is very much more than one man.

SXE-HARDCORE. xCURRAHEEx is a straight edge band that has been around since 2006, released their debut 7" in 2008 on Double Crossed Records from the UK and, after some line-up changes, have recorded their second 7" at the end of 2009. Seven songs of positive, yet aggressive, straight edge Hardcore in the tradition of all the great straight edge bands from the late 1980s and late 1990s, brought with conviction and spirit.

PUNK. Existing from 1991 to 1995, this band delivered a cool aggressive, fast but melodic mix of classic Punk and Crust with female vocals. This LP compiles their 2 sold out classic 7"s, all their compilation tracks, the demo + 2 unreleased songs. Lyrix dealing mostly with animal rights and the resistence against exploitation. Some of the members continued later on as LOST WORLD - cool stuff!

GARAGE. The DOLLY ROCKER MOVEMENT formed in late 2002 in the inner surrounds of Sydney, Australia. They are influenced by late '60s Garage, Psychedelia. The charismatic band leader writes beautiful and well-crafted songs and beneath the psychedelic and colourful surface they're simply a great Pop band with a destinctive sound of their own.
