EMO/INDIEROCK. On January 9th, 2009, 36 CRAZYFISTS filmed their very first live DVD in their hometown of Anchorage, AK. The effort, aptly titled "Underneath a northern sky," was directed by good friend Todd Bell, who joined the band for a weeks worth of revisiting old stomping grounds, listening to stories of the formation of the band and all the antics that come along with a band who is in their 15th year and counting. Along with the live show, ridiculous backstage antics and band member interviews, all the bands videos are also present on the DVD.

Director Jack Curran's debut feature "924 GILMAN ST" is a documentary that chronicles the 21-year history of the volunteer-run, all ages venue in Berkeley, CA and captures a music scene still thriving today on creativity and a sense of camaraderie. Punk notables Jello Biafra, Ian MacKaye, Lars Fredricksen and Matt Freeman, among others, lend their perspectives while live footage of bands like OPERATION IVY, SCREECHING WEASEL, PINHEAD GUNPOWDER, PANSY DIVISON, FLESHIES, AGAINST ME!, TED LEO & THE PHARMACISTS etc. show the synergy of the band, audience and venue that makes this a special place.

METALCORE. The double-disc set "The most unknown" marks the DVD debut from Western Massachusetts' powerhouse metallic juggernauts The ACACIA STRAIN. The first DVD documents a full concert at the Worcester Palladium in December 2008 to over 2,000 fans, with the second disc featuring testimonials from dozens of fans, a documentary and a video of a live set from a much smaller, more intimate show shot just weeks before the Palladium gig.

PUNK. Following the #1 debut of their CD "Decemberunderground" and on the heels of an MTV VMA win, AFI releases the first DVD of their career, "I Heard A Voice." Filmed with 22 HD cameras at their biggest headline show to date, live from the Long Beach Arena sold out show with 13,000 fans, this DVD contains 72 minutes of live footage. Features live versions of "Love Like Winter," "Miss Murder" and 16 others.

Einen Monat lang auf Tour mit AGAINST ME!, die vom 2. April bis zum 1.Mai diesen Jahres zusammen mit PLANES MISTAKEN FOR STARS und NO CHOICE unterwegs waren. Von Gainesville bis Orlando, Florida gibt es hier Ausschnitte aus guten und weniger guten Shows, Interviews, ein dutzend Hits, die an verschiegdenen Orten mitgeschnitten wurden, sowie sehr lustige Enblicke ins Tourleben. Sehr spassig, wie TAKING BACK SUNDAY von der Band eingesperrt werden, wie die Bluthunde verschiedener Majorfirmen um die Jungs herumschwirren, wie ueber Fat Wreck, ANTI-FLAG und andere geredet wird. Zur guten Mucke passt auch die schoene Verpackung. Die DVD kommt in einer Art DVD Digipack, aufklappbar und mit vielen Fotos, sowie Linernotes von AGAINST ME! Frontmann Tom. Wenn nur alle DVDs so gut gemacht waeren. Tip!

HARDCORE. Die langerwatete erste DVD der lebenden Hardcore-Legende aus New York City ist da. Aufgenommen wurde die vollgepackte Show 2005 in der Wiege vieler NY-HC Bands, dem CBGBs. Mit 5 Kameras aus verschiedenen Perspektiven gefilmt und gut zusammengeschnitten, vermittelt diese DVD (LP) auf optimale Weise die intensive Live-Qualität der Band. Insgesamt gibt es in einer knappen Stunde 19 Songs quer durch das gesamte Schaffen. Von "Victim in pain" über "Blind justice", "Friend or foe", "Gotta go", "Riot riot upstart" bis zu "Anthem" zum Abchluss. Super Stimmung! Desweiteren ist auf der DVD noch die 22-min. Dokumentation "Behind the voice" über AF, ein Interview mit Vinnie Stigma und eine Fotogallery enthalten. Ausserdem gibt es das Konzert noch als Audio-CD mit den 2 Songs als Bonus. Die anspruchsvolle Vinyl-Edition (auf 500 Exemplare limitiert) kommt zwar ohne DVD, dafür mit bedruckter Innenhülle (alle Lyrics) und in Farbe.

EMO-METAL. For much of the last decade, AIDEN has been a force of dark, high-energy Punkrock best experienced in a live setting. This low-price CD/DVD package is a glimpse into AIDEN's chaotic live show, with a set live from their second home of Chicago.

INDIE-ROCK/PUNK. In the summer of 1998, ''Goddamnit'', one of the most influential punk albums was recorded by a little ol' band from Chicago called the ALKALINE TRIO. Ten years later ASIAN MAN bring you the extensive rerelease of this classic album. Most rereleases offer the basic remastered + bonus photos/liner notes type of deal, but this reissue has been a three year long process that's been given the royal treatment. Completely remixed, remastered, new digipak artwork w/ two metallic foil inks on the cover, twelve page booklet with rare photos/liner notes, and a two hour DVD documentary featuring all original members. Interviews include Matt Skiba, Dan Andriano, and Glenn Porter from the ALKALINE TRIO, Brendan Kelly (LAWRENCE ARMS), Matt Allison (Atlas Studios), Heather Hannoura (Artist/Roadie), and Mike Park (Asian Man Records). The DVD takes you through the story of the bands creation through the eyes of all the major players who were involved in the genesis of the band. It also includes the entire "Goddamnit" album performed by the original band and then again by the current lineup. Also there were four never released songs. These were the first four songs the band ever recorded and they have also been remixed and remastered for the re-release. The vinyl will be released on limited edition colors. Those who purchase the vinyl will also receive a gift certificate for a free copy of the DVD.

INDIE-ROCK/PUNK. Vinyl will be available ca. 25.01.2008. "Remains" is a 22-song compilation spanning the amazing career of Alkaline Trio. It's a gathering of rare tracks, B-sides, and split EP songs they've recorded since their inception 10 years ago. For many of the true, hardcore ALKALINE TRIO fans, this will be a must own. And for those just finding out about the band, this will be a great way to look back and see how the band has grown both as songwriters and as lyricists. The DVD portion of the package will give fans a peek behind the Alkaline Trio curtain. Having taken a videographer with them on their last few tours, the band has captured hundreds of hours of backstage, behind-the-scenes, and live footage. The DVD also contains music videos and some "making of the video" segments.

INDIEROCK/PUNK. With "This addiction," their seventh album and first for Epitaph, the Chicago rockers are heading back to their roots. "This record is a Rock record but our Punkrock upbringing definitely shines through, more so than our last few records", says singer/guitarist Matt Skiba "The vibe is similar to our humble beginnings. It's a step forward but I also think it has glimmers of our past in it". To recapture the sound of the early days, the band took a less-is-more approach on this record, keeping the keyboard to a minimum and sticking to the guitar-driven slash and burn that has made them a household name. This version features an additional 6 tracks plus a full-length concert DVD shot in Las Vegas in 2008.

METALCORE. Now available on limited colored vinyl! Bay Area Metal warriors ALL SHALL PERISH return with their third full-length, which sees the band refining their sound, to create an even more volatile mix of old-school Death Metal and powerful modern American Metal for a final product that could best be described as a cross between CANNIBAL CORPSE and HATEBREED. Die erste Live DVD von Anti-Flag. 'Death of a nation' ist eine Art Tour-Tagebuch der letzten US Tour. Das Livematerial stammt von verschiedenen, die auf der Tour zu ''The Terror State'' gefilmt wurden. Insgesamt 23 Songs. Zusaetzlich gibt es die vorher unveroeffentlichte ''Death of a nation'' und ''Post-war breakout'' Videos zu sehen, letzeres mit raren Aufnahmen von Woody Guthrie. Ausserdem das Musikvideo zu ''Turncoat'', sowie das Making off. Dazu dann noch Interviews, Montagen, Politisches, und und und.

EMOCORE. Auf dieser DVD sind die Toureindruecke von ARMOR FOR SLEEP in all seinen Facetten eindrucksvoll und ungeschminkt dokumentiert. Oftmals glorreich, manchmal weniger, teilweise total gelangweilt. Der Regiesseur war ein Jahr mit der aufstrebenden Band unterwegs, um diese Dokumentation zu machen. Neben massig Livematerial (ueber 90 min. der ''What to do..'' Tour) gibt es Interviews, Biografien, Fotos, einen Hausbesuch und die obligatorischen Blicke hinter die Kulissen (u.a., wie der Bandbus im Nirgendwo den Geist aufgibt und wie sie ein Hotalzimmer zerlegen), persoenliche Fotos und und und. Well known for their relentless touring, Virginia's ARSIS returned to the studio to record "We are the nightmare," and will be back on the road immediately following the release. These 10 tracks showcase the band's creative blend of melodic death metal, black metal influenced vocals, technical riffing and precise drumming.
